Day 2 of the US Open – Surfing

The remainder of Round 1 of the US Open has finally come to a close with the last 12 heats finishing up. The competition was fierce with only the top 2 of each heat advancing to Round 2. The Brazilian surfers definitely are making themselves known with 7 of the 24 surfers of the last 12 heats being Brazilian. Round 2 is going to be intense with the remaining 48 riders vying for spots to advance to Round 3. Huntington Beach, CA is definitely where the action’s at right now.
